There are a lot more infected here than I would have expected. Once a few of them lost control, I'm guessing the panic and the blood set off any others who were close.
It sucks, but there's some merit to the idea of trying to contain the disaster. It's already chaotic in here. It'd be pretty disastrous if it hit the streets.
